A Certified Professional Coach, Miriam J. Katz coaches ambitious professionals to identify and maximize their talents and passions.
Miriam discovered her passion for coaching others during her ten years in the field of philanthropy, overseeing student leadership programs with Combined Jewish
Philanthropies of Greater Boston, managing State Street
Corporation’s employee volunteer program and allocating grants to community-based organizations at the Adelson Family Foundation.
While managing volunteers and mentoring professionals looking to enter the field of philanthropy, Miriam honed her ability to identify the strengths and passions of others, and to guide professionals into roles best suited to their talents.
Miriam was certified as a Professional Coach through iPEC, the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching. She received her BA in Psychology from Clark University, and an MBA with a Certificate in Public and Nonprofit Management from Boston University. Miriam is a Senior Fellow with the University of Massachusetts Boston's Center for Collaborative Leadership, through which she completed the Emerging Leaders Program in 2006. She is an active member of many nonprofit organizations' advisory boards including the GreenLight Fund, Combined Jewish Philanthropies, and the New Center for Arts and Culture.
